Private Jet Charter at Van Nuys Airport
Van Nuys Airport (VNY / KVNY) is a general aviation airport in the San Fernando Valley, owned by the City of Los Angeles through Los Angeles World Airports. It has no airline service, so it is the main private jet airport for the Valley, Beverly Hills and the Westside. The main runway is about 8,000 feet. A city curfew limits late-night jet departures.

Why travelers choose Van Nuys
From VNY, passengers can usually reach Encino, Sherman Oaks, Bel Air and Beverly Hills over the Sepulveda Pass without the congestion around LAX. Drive times vary a lot with traffic.[3]
Several FBOs compete on the field, so most operators flying into Los Angeles already have a handling relationship here.[3]
Private aviation operations
The city's Noise Abatement and Curfew Ordinance bars Stage 2 aircraft from departing between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Landings and helicopters are not restricted by the curfew.[1]
Under the voluntary Quieter Nights Program, jet operators are asked to avoid VNY operations between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. where possible, so late-evening departures can be harder to arrange.[1]
Airport rules and regulations are published by LAWA and change from time to time. The operator confirms the current requirements for each flight.[2]
Final arrangements depend on the aircraft, the operator, any permissions or slots required, and conditions at the airport on the day. RIVIERA JET is a charter broker. Flights are operated by independent, properly certificated operators.
