Private Jet Charter at Dubai International Airport
Dubai International (DXB / OMDB) is one of the world's busiest airline hubs, and private flights there are tightly managed. Dubai Airports applies separate conditions of use and slot performance rules to general and business aviation at DXB, because small aircraft reduce runway capacity at peak times. Many private flights to Dubai therefore use Al Maktoum International (DWC), where those rules do not currently apply.

Why travelers choose Dubai International
DXB is closer than DWC to Downtown Dubai, Deira and the older city, so if a slot is available it can save road time.[1]
Private aviation operations
Every general aviation flight at DXB is subject to the slot performance requirements, and flying outside the agreed slot can lead to sanctions under those rules.[1]
Dubai Airports says GA traffic is especially disruptive during the airline hub's peak periods. It considered banning GA at DXB altogether and chose slot controls instead, so peak-hour requests can be hard to get.[1]
Final arrangements depend on the aircraft, the operator, any permissions or slots required, and conditions at the airport on the day. RIVIERA JET is a charter broker. Flights are operated by independent, properly certificated operators.
